Overall I have painted 13 pictures of dried Lotus Leaves. These have had various shows, Holloway Gallery at Moffatt Beach, FireWorks Gallery in Brisbane and The Queensland Children’s Hospital. The Curator at the Hospital said in an email “They have been very much appreciated by families, and patients. Beautiful works. “
Painting these leaves was to share the beauty, I found them fascinating. To me they are about landscape and nature, contemplation and quiet.
